Judges Comments

There are several layers to the nature story in this image - the damage to the trees, the regrowth after the destruction the variety of flowers blooming. The composition is effective and could probably be made a little stronger if you cropped the bottom of the image slightly. The exposure in the main part of the image is very good but the sky is washed out - darkening the sky slightly would improve the image.
