This is a strong portrait of the lizard. You captured very good detail, with just a slight softness in the tongue - a faster shutter speed would have helped there. The leaf litter gives some idea of the context, but overall the tight cropping limits your capacity to tell a strong nature story with the image. This image might do better in an open competition.
