There are two railroad bridges across the Potomac at Harpers Ferry. This picture was taken from under one of the raiload bridges on the steps leading up from the C&O canal to the walkway on the bridge that takes you across the river to Harpers Ferry. This walkway is part of the Appalachian trail.
