I recently ran into the great grandson of Lena Caroline Cox and his wife and learned that she died
aged 47 at Coolootai of burns received when her dress caught on fire while she was lighting a fire
to heat a copper for washing.

Coolatai locals might recognise an awful coicidence in her demise.

Lena was born in Denmark.
