Support For Freedom

Warsaw, Poland

Ronald Reagan actively supported the Polish people in our struggle for freedom and democracy. We will always remember his contribution to the Polish freedom movement.

The Ronald Reagan Monument was erected to honor the 40th President of the United States and his role in supporting the Polish anti-communist labour union Solidarity.
The monument is located vis-à-vis the U.S. Embassy building at Aleje Ujazdowskie street. It was unveiled on November 21st, 2011 by Lech Walesa.

A fine monument to Ronald Reagan! I agree with Laine. And I am always surprised and pleased to see how well Poland has progressed after so many hardships and the devastation of the wars. Freedom has bloomed.
