The three of us went out today to the “Palm Park” on the Diplomatic Quarter because today is the first day Tim has been able to drive any distance since breaking his foot and he can now get around a bit more easily (without crutches but still can’t wear a normal shoe due to complications). Also, I just received the replacement for my Sony that got drowned when he fell in the river in Morocco, and I wanted to try it out. Finally, Sahraa has been trying for almost three months now to drag me to this park, but I always refuse to go because I’m tired, it’s incredibly hot (it was about 115 F out there today) and it’s quite a long walk from our house. So a good time was had by all!
