No, I don’t mean figuratively, I mean literally. These are my glasses after they’ve been perched on my (dry) head for a couple of hours. I’ve been up a ladder stripping again. Now that may sound like something salacious from a pole dancing club but in fact it’s only thirty-odd year old wallpaper. I can date the bottom level to pre-1979 by the fact that it doesn’t cover a window that we know was bricked up then.

Is it the sweat of hard physical labour or the symptoms of a menopausal woman? The former is definitely true and who knows about the latter?
