Update (following questions about the round things on the stones):
The stone wall is a part of "Memorial to the Martyrs of the Communist Terror in Poland in 1944-56".
Those "things" are the bullet shells with names of over 400 places of execution.The memorial consists of the huge cross and a broken metal prison bars, a symbol of regained freedom.
