DC Twilight

Arlington, VA view map

The view from the top floor of the Sheraton Pentagon City Hotel.
The arches of the Air Force Memorial in front of the Pentagon, with
Arlington National Cemetery in front and to the left of the Pentagon,
the US Capitol in the distance behind the Pentagon, the Jefferson
Memorial just below and to the left of the Capitol, and the Washington
Monument off in the distance on the far left. Quite the view from that perspective.

This is a merge of three hand held exposures for HDR.
A slight crop off the bottom for comp.

Sam, terrific lighting on this. It gives a sense of quiet in a town not known for that.

Fascinating view, it seems almost pastoral despite the importance of the landmarks. Good camera work and post Sam.

Great view and sky! We were just there the weekend before for my youngest son's graduation from Georgetown. I am really starting to like DC. So much to do there.
