An exotic but not uncommon door in the Rabat medina (old walled city). When we first arrived in Rabat around midnight after our flight from Riyadh, we were guided through the medina maze to our riad (accommodation), and I could see all these fascinating doors but was unable to photograph them due to a lack of light. So I took a few pictures on our way out the next morning, holding up the people carrying our luggage in the process. Normally I wouldn’t worry about being left behind, but getting lost in a Moroccan medina -- especially when you're in a hurry -- isn’t a good idea.
