Calliandra eriophylla
Legume-Fabaceae family
This is a compact, woody shrub that grows up to three feet tall and has small pinnately
compound leaves. A mass of blooms covers the plant in late winter and intermittently in summer
in response to rain. We have had rain this Spring and my acre is covered with these little
beauties.
