The Walled Garden

I'm on holidays this week and as the sun was shining we visited Oldbridge Estate in Co Meath.
The estate includes the area where the infamous Battle of the Boyne was fought between King William of Orange and James the second.
There's also an attractive wall gardens but unfortunately dogs aren't allowed in, not even on leads.

That's a pity because I can see at least one Lab who would probably love to be sprinting from one end of that to the other, leaping over the hedges along the way. (Actually I can think of one Malchi who'd like to try it as well, except that she'd only be able to leap to about half the height of the hedges and plant face first into them.)
I like the flanking trees on either side; they add some extra perspective to it. Without them the shot may have felt a bit flat.
