The collection at the Museum of Islamic Art was excellent, taking up three whole floors of the building. I could do an entire gallery on it, but for now I’m just posting eight of my favorites, all at once.
The Museum of Islamic Art, set on its own man-made island, was designed by IM Pei and holds the largest collection of Islamic art in the world, gathered from three continents. Not surprisingly, it is the number one tourist attraction in Doha on TripAdvisor.
