Katara Cultural Village, romantic getaway

This couple was very clearly Saudi, but they were holding hands, unthinkable in Saudi Arabia, even for married couples, in public. I thought it was charming to see them relaxing in Doha, where no such prohibitions exist.

The picture and your caption gives me pause for thought. As much as I enjoy travel and honour other cultures, I find it hard to understand not being allowed to hold hands.
