On our final day in Salalah, we traveled west of the city, towards the Yemeni border, to Al Mughsail with its beautiful, long beach, set on what Lonely Planet calls “Oman’s most spectacular bay.”

This was the village fishing fleet, although I can’t imagine much of it was out to sea. The cliffs in the distance are partially obscured by a sandstorm.
