The beach at Al Mughsail

On our final day in Salalah, we traveled west of the city, towards the Yemeni border. It’s ironic; I was so close to Yemen, which I have always wanted to visit (especially Sana’a, the capital), but unable to go there due to security problems, which have since gotten worse. Anyway, this was the beautiful, long beach at Al Mughsail with the cliffs in the distance, obscured by a sandstorm, leading towards the border.

The window makes a lovely frame - surprised to see graffiti tho' - but in this instance adds interest to the shot V
