The fancy car at center, from the Riviera Hotel in Wakulla Springs, is a 1940 LaSalle, introduced
in October 1939. 1940 was the last year LaSalles were manufactured. (I know of LaSalles
mostly from the last verses of the All In The Family theme song, which Archie and Edith
sang at the piano - "Gee, our old LaSalle ran great - those were the days.") I can't
match its license plate to any Florida type. But we know the photo was taken no earlier
than late 1939.
The car at far right is a Ford Model 48 touring sedan, made from 1935-1937.
