Mister D sent me an e-mail the other day.
He had two things to say.

First, Mister D pointed out that "Pherdey" is
the name that he gave to his friend, not "Ferdey".
He also clarfied that "Pherdey" is pronounced
the same way as "Ferdey". So now I know how to
spell Pherdey's name properly.

Second, Mister D wanted to know if Pherdey is
sleeping in the same place that he sleeps when
Mister D is with him at Grandma and Grandpa's
house. The answer is no, Pherdey is sleeping
in a different place. He tried sleeping alone
on the big mattress but he was lonely without
Mister D. So we made a bed for him in the
Spill & Spell box, with a dish cloth for a
blanket. Pherdey thought this was much cosier
and he also liked that the Spill & Spell box
smells a little bit like Mister D.

Pherdey sleeps the same way that Mister D does.
He moves around quite a bit while he is sleeping,
and he often kicks his blankets off. Just like
Mister D, he usually ends up sleeping sideways in
his bed for part of the night.
