When renowned feline street photographer Henri Kittier-Bresson heard about the "Hand of Man" challenge, he decided to come out of retirement to pursue a project involving a bi-lingual pun. He may be a bit the worse for wear, due to rather too many late nights at the Cafe des Artistes, during which he lost his ears and had them sowed on backwards by an incompetent French doctor who had been self-medicating with Absinthe, but it was still an immense privilege for me to be allowed to document the creative process. Henri insisted I use Ilford black and white film, of course.
