We drove to Khor Rouri, which hosts the Sumhuram Archeological Site, where a thriving center of the frankincense trade was located 2,000 years ago. The ruins were interesting, but the museum was closed (“no electricity” said the guards). The estuary, however, was beautiful, and it appeared that these camels liked it as well. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a camel in water!
