BRASECKER - Steve Bergman, 53, of Pembroke Pines, FL died Sunday, March 19, 2000.

Member of American Legion Post 0400.

Survived by wife, Wendy; son, Scott of SC; step-children, Melissa (Matt) Gallagher and Johnathan Keller, both of FL; brother, Carey (Kay) of LaBelle, FL; and 3 grandchildren.

Funeral service 2:00 PM Tuesday with Dr. Larry G. Purvis officiating at FRED HUNTER'S HOLLYWOOD MEMORIAL GARDENS HOME, 6301 Taft Street, where friends may call Tuesday (today) 1:00 PM to service time. Burial HOLLYWOOD MEMORIAL GARDENS.

Steve died in a one-car auto accident on the inside lane of westbound I-75 near Bonaventure when he hit a patch of standing water and lost control of his 1997 Chrysler which impacted a guard rail and concrete wall. I've been told that he was heading up to Lake Okeechobee to visit his brother for a day of fishing on the lake.
