I can see why your getting attached to it. Very nice, I'm floored that this is 200 mm from your backyard. That's like 4x normal vision. I didn't notice that view when we were there. I must have been blind. Paul

BTW, the tall peak to the right is Mt Wrightson, 9,450 ft.

Paul - see pending.
Actually, this B&W is growing on me.

Of course now we've got to see your new edit. The wife says she likes your original better than this edit but she's the type who think any and all photo editing programs should be blasted into outer space only to burn into smithereens upon their return. As you might suspect don't see eye to eye on everything. Paul

I played with this version a bit and converted it to B&W. This produces a fairly good B&W, much better than the original.

I just placed a copy of this shot before the Topaz Restyle into pending.
Paul - this was shot from my backyard at 200 mm. I had to clone out a couple of small branches of neighboring trees.
The final edit is a blend (in PS) of 3 different Topaz Restyle edits along with the original as the base. One of the edits had pulled out some greens, another two the reds.

How far up were you able to drive and park your car before you had to hump the rest of the way. This looks like your on a neighboring peak. And I should say once I open my eyes and turn off my over analyzing internal defect I have, this really is a very interesting shot and edit. Paul.

Yes, like a million sunflowers climbing the side of a mountain in Tolkien's Middle Earth...Otherworldly....and thanks for thinking of the topic...lol. Very best Wishes, Traveller

My fault for not carefully reading the caption accompanining your entry. I tend to skim and anticipate what I think it's saying. Paul

Thanks. Re color push - done for Traveller.

That's nice, really it is. Might have pushed the colors a touch too far but I really like the scene. paul
