We saw this old minaret across the lake on our way out of the park.

What had started out as a brief look at a new attraction turned into several hours spent enjoying the grounds. It’s really hard to believe that this oasis is right in the middle of old Riyadh, about two blocks from a restored neighborhood I had photographed months ago.
