Kusamba Beach is known for it's black sand beach. While the outriggers that line the beach belong to the fishermen, larger boats pack on food and people headed for nearby Nusa Penida Island. Each morning, all the food and supplies needed to support this tiny island of 40.000 people are packed aboard several of these large boats that appear top-heavy by the time they launch.
