Steve set his alarm for an early morning ascent of Innere Wetterspitze (3055m). He did the route on the east ridge which is a marked trail from Bremer Hut. The ascent is 624m/2047 ft from the hut and Steve did the round trip in about two hours (!). He said the route was straightforward, but there were some cables and exposure in spots. He did say it was "exciting" (which is not exactly what I want to hear).
