wow, that's a big animal. Wood bison are bigger than plains bison, and the males can get to 2,000 lbs, making them the
heaviest land animal in North America - sorry, Kodiak bear (1,400 lbs), bull moose (1,500 lbs) and polar bear (1,500 lbs).
