Phu Cong Bridge

Phu Cong

The Phu Cong bridge had been destroyed several times until a Seal Team was assigned to guard it. It was not blown up the rest of my tour, so what ever the Seals did really worked.

I was there that day. It was a black kid we called him Short Round. He couldn't swim , The lieutenant kept telling Margio (Craine operator) to boom down to get out further. Margio kept saying no its too much, so when the Craine started to tip in to the river Margio was reddy to jump out. It was all the lieutenants fault.

they had mo tre then two people killed over that bridge. i was there. two was shot and one fell over board. when the crane turned over . with men in the pile driving leads.one man came up out the water. the other one didnt.divers went down and didn't find him
