Harpa, abstract (11)

This was a walkway on one end of the building. It was a bit hard to tell what went where with all those crazy lines ;-), so I’ve decided it’s an abstract!

This is close to the last image I’ll be posting of Harpa (one more from outside remains) – what a spectacular building and such a pleasant surprise to find in Reykjavik. Looking now at the Harpa site http://en.harpa.is , though, I realize how much we didn’t see – the brilliant concert hall, the famous movie on Iceland they’re showing in their Expo pavilion, the unusual lines of the building from a distance and it sparkling at night -- so all the more reason to return to Iceland, which I hope we’ll be able to do at some point in time.

Another of the images posted today, a view of the harbor:

Yes, I would say that you have a dandy of an abstract. It is really amazing, what you can do with this building. Well captured. V.

That is a wonderful picture, and could be many things if I didn't know it was a building.
