Time has flown and times have changed.
I'm currently living out of a transient apartment and only have the photography gear here with me that would fit in my backpack. I finally found a moment to take a breath and figured I'd see if I could find something fun to set up and photograph. This apartment has the bare necessities...if that. I found a rubiks cube and took a few shots of that on a glass table in the living room. I put a dark blanket underneath the table in order to make it reflect. The results where ok, but not ideal. I had an idea, but never quite got what I wanted.
I started rummaging around and opened the cupboards, all the dishes are plain and I started to formulate and idea of what I wanted. My wife spent the weekend here and had just left to head back home for a while, work is in the way at this point and over the next several months we won't be seeing a lot of each other. I wanted a sort of dark and lonely feeling to whatever I shot. I took about 12-13 shots of this little set up and got several that I liked.
