Time Passes

I'm finding it hard to believe that summer is almost over.
Where has time gone?
The evenings are already getting darker and there's a nip in the air.

Lovely shot. Here too. We've had a strange weather pattern keeping it cool for most of the summer which suits me just fine!

An excellent shot to illustrate your commentary on passing time. If you look at

The nip's not in the air; that's just Toffee nibbling at your ankles reminding you that it's dinner time and that the bowl had better be filled shortly or else.
You get a lot of good mileage out of a plant that you hate. The standard lens on the E-P1 did a very good job on this one, almost as good as a dedicated macro lens could hope for. I like the way you've positioned the head into the gap between the clouds, and the fact that it's only partially blown away is a good metaphor for something that is coming to an end, but not there yet.
