Sunday night the moon appeared a little brighter and a little larger. This is
caused by the elliptical orbit around the Earth. When the moon is at perigee
it's orbit brings it closest to earth. When at apogee, the moon is at it's greatest
distance from earth.

Probably the best moon shot I've ever seen. Has it been flipped? Thanks for the information, greatly appreciated. I think I'll go try this tonight, does the moon rise later tonight? Heather Wade
