Swallow-tailed Kite (Elanoides forficatus)

Georgia, USA

This swallow-tailed kite is about to capture a
green June bug (beetle) which it will consume
on the wing. The beetle is not obvious but a
careful look in the grass in front of the kite
should reveal the insect.
