A summer storm about to sweep over the Pitcher Mountain fire tower.
When it hit, a ferocious wind tipped over my tripod. I caught it, fortunately, and ran for cover below treeline.
Amazing light right before the storm. When I saw the thumbnail I thought the fire tower was a robot from a movie. The point of view is fantastic. Very cool shot and I'm glad you, your camera and tripod survived the adventure! V
