The Japanese Stone Lantern has a Japanese name “Doro”. The original purpose of “Doro” was for illustrating paths in Buddhist Temple. This is a four legged Yukimi-doro.
An umbrella with finial at the top, situated at water front, relatively low (shorter than one metre), and used exclusively in gardens are the characteristics of Yukimi-doro.
