Fixer des yeux le rond noir central.
Sans quitter des yeux le rond noir, déplacer la tête vers l'écran, puis revenir en arrière.
On observe très nettement les cercles tourner, pour l'un dans le sens des aiguilles d'une montre
et en sens inverse pour l'autre (ou l'inverse selon le mouvement de la tête).
Noter que cette illusion d'optique fonctionne avec un, deux, trois ou plus de cercles.
Si l'on ne regarde pas le rond noir (en regardant les bords de l'image par exemple), l'illusion ne se produit pas.
