Door, Al Dukhna Gate

A small interior door in Al-Dukhna Gate. As several people have commented on the trash in these pictures, I decided to leave it rather than cloning it out. It's sad, but people throw garbage any and everywhere.

Totally nothing to do with this door, but I just received a link to a video of our next tour to the Faradise Islands (in Saudi Arabia, although hard to believe it!) in October. For anybody who is interested in seeing a really different side of this country: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=87Q32Yp8_ao

The front and back of the main door in the gate:

Love this shot - the way the very attractive door is tucked away gives the shot an intriguing mood. BV

I always am curious what is the gate behind it? Great job :)

Fantastic shot of that magical doorway, marred only by the garbage. I am shocked to hear about that problem! V

This looks very ancient and I like the way it is lit against the dark background. V.

Strange how people the world over throw litter and ruin their own community.

La porte est belle, c’est dommage pour la bouteille qui traine. V
