Araucária is a typical tree of the brazilian south region; it grows well in a fresh climate and therefore it is easily found in the 'Serra' (mountains) areas. Very common in Paraná and Santa Catarina states. From this tree we get the 'pinhão', quite similar to chestnut (cashew) and it is delicious. Hard to stop eating.
