Everglades National Park

The Anhinga Trail circles a deep, freshwater slough where fish become concentrated and attract alligators and fish-eating birds such as herons, egrets and Anhingas. We saw a Great Blue Heron, a Green Heron, a couple of cormorants and several Anhingas.
