During the past 20+ years, the Louvre has undergone some massive changes and reorganizations.
Several open courtyard areas such as this sculpture court, have received glass ceilings, giving them excellent
light and room to display sculptures in a more natural environment, pleasant during most all times of the year.

One plus of this renovation, has made wonderful views looking down on these courtyards from windows in the galleries above.
