Ode to my Panasonic G1

Bowler, Wisconsin

I took my Panasonic G1 out yesterday. This will be my last time with the the little infrared converted camera that has served me well for 5 years. I shot over 300 photos with it last week on my trip to Charleston, but had the opportunity to buy a Sony converted camera, so I'm replacing the G1, and the new one arrives tomorrow.
This is a photo that I shot at 920nm in the infrared spectrum. The G1 is converted to 665nm, but I added an additional IR filter to the lens. I also added grain, and an old-timey conversion to go along with the strange bowling-pin fence and old barn.

It certainly is an interesting effect Cindy, and it suites this old building well.

Fantastic image, Cindy! That IR is really fascinating stuff! Love your processing too.
Your willingness to experiment and try new approaches is quite amazing - I'm so glad you
are sharing your work. I always seem to learn something from each and every post of yours.

That's SOME B/W work and processing, Cindy.
I didn't know you still had it. I will miss it, as well. Some fine time seeing these shots.
