Roxy is a runner. If the slightest gap in a door is available she's gone. She always comes back, food and her cat box override the desire to go too far but she likes to be outside. We have done our best the past few weeks to keep her on lockdown and in the house to try and cure her of this running.
I am thinking she's going to end up escaping the new houses boundaries and end up walking back to Casa de Sands once we move? This completely freaks Sarah out and we have endless conversations of how to keep Roxy at the new home…
According to my wise old farmer friend, Senior Chief Tillinghast; you put butter on a cats feet when they get to a new home/location. Butter, you read that right. He says his grandma told him this and that once you put butter on the cats paws they will stay put???? I guess when you have a farm in your family since 1833 that you might know a thing or two about animals and superstitions.
My only question is do I use salted or unsalted butter?
