blast

Muley Point, Utah

it was a blast driving up the Moki Dugway (see previous), and there was more to come...a side road at the mesa top went a few miles to Muley Point, a vantage point offering expansive views..in the middle distance the San Juan River meanders through Goosenecks SP, and on the horizon to the left is Monument Valley...the blast of sunlight here was not optimal, and the blasts of wind were the fiercest we had met...Glenn stands strong though. braced against the buffeting, to get the shot

It definitely gives the perspective of what it was like up there. Like Sam said, it was definitely not calm and easy to shoot.

The bushes must very hardy to survive in such a hostile environment. Spectacular view David.

Nice capture of Glenn in action. Your perfect choice of very short exposure gives the impression of a calm scene, which we know was definitely not the case with the high winds on that morning.
