Here is my new mouse ($36.99, the bargain of the century and ten times better than the $379 Logitech that it replaces and that I bought five years ago (for I believe $60)) and mouse pad (14"x17": huge; $36.66: very expensive for a mouse pad, but it's beautifully designed). The mouse pad sticks to the wooden table like glue, but is easily pealed off without leaving any residue or deteriorating the stickiness. It's huge because gamers are maniacs and need lots of real estate to satisfy their mania. I have the mouse actually set up at its highest DPI (4000) and gamers want it set at the lowest DPI (800), so they can be free to whip the mouse all over the whole pad, but I want to get to dialog controls on the desktop with minimal wrist movement. The pad works perfectly for the entire range of DPI supported by the mouse.
