P3270001.jpg

This is the mess to the left of my monitor and keyboard. It contains a pair of blue Bluetooth headphones currently being charged to use with my landline telephone that produces an echo that my son, Michel, cannot abide, a couple of orphan USB cables that are used to charge my Google Nexus 7 tablet and dedicated physical keyboard, another dedicated USB cable for uploading images from my Olympus E-M1 camera that I can't use because the jack is covered by my Really Right Stuff L-bracket, a switch blade knife that even my son, David, isn't strong enough to get it retracted back in its case so I use it for opening packages now, a couple LED flashlights, the control center of my Midiland computer speakers which blow away almost every other set ever developed for desktop computers, one of the speakers to that system (the powerful subwoofer is on the floor about four feet from my feet as I type on my computer keyboard), empty glasses case, high end titanium Leatherman knife in case, wireless mouse and pad that I've had for centuries, an expensive Lexar SD card reader with retractable reading station that loses power when it is plugged in to the Xcellon 10-Port Powered USB 3.0 Hub and must be connected directly to the USB 3.0 card available in the back of the computer, a dirt cheap 5 port flash memory card reader I got on March 25 to replace the weak Lexar and it works just fine plugged directly into the Xcellon, and the Xcellon itself in the upper right hand corner. There's also a couple ancient HP pocket calculators in cases also shown, plus 5 USB 2.0 sticks that I hardly use anymore. And this is just the beginning. Wait until you see the other stuff on my desk.
