I end this gallery with the Buff-Breasted Paradise Kingfisher as this was the reason we got to know and visited Julatten and the Kingfisher Park. We have planned this for a few years and we have no regrets visiting even though the bird count was low. Quality over quantity. Meeting up with Carol Iles (our guide), we got to visit surrounding places like Mt Molloy, Mareeba and Mt Carbine. It has indeed been a tiring 7 days but it was all worth it.
