About three years ago we had a tree taken out near the house. It was a pretty big tree with a 30 inch diameter stump. Because of the location, it wasn't possible to get a stump grinder in there. Now, Ginny likes to work in the yard and her garden. She decided to start hacking on it with an axe. As you can see in this photo, she has almost completed her quest. She busted one axe and I have had to sharpen the new one several times. Axes are really not designed to cut through rocks. Soon she will have the job done and can move on to another quest.
