What a difference a day makes, or so the song goes. Again filthy weather and there's been nowt but flood and gale warnings on the radio and news all day. Miserably dark and wet here again today, compared with some coastal regions of the south west we would seem to be getting off lightly. More and more I find myself glad that we bought a house on the top of a hill - albeit a small one! I haven't ventured out today, other than to post some letters, so can't report the state of the Washford River, but am guessing it's higher than yesterday .... !! Starting to feel quite concerned about neighbours who live at the bottom of the lane as I'm sure they must be close to being flooded and it must be such a worry.

It's been a work, work, work day - busy updating correspondence and databases.

So, as noted above, not been out and about with either camera today, meaning that I'm pinching another of yesterday's bird images to illustrate today's blog entry. This time a cheeky robin who was singing his heart out in the sunshine yesterday - just look at that blue sky..... heaven!

Looking forward to lunch with a good friend tomorrow, but first a fish and chip supper tonight - yummy!
