North Berwick

Here we go again, PAD 2014.
We start with the annual North Berwick 'Loony Dook' New Year swim.
Unfortunately it was a bit grey and cold, so not a lot of swimming was actually done.
Miss Santa here must have got her tan in the North Pole sun.
I would have taken part, but this lens is not waterproof...

This, THIS was your most viewed image for 2014? Forsooth, surely you jest! Mind you the skin tones registered very well and accurately. And the mid motion capture of the wave being generated by her leg at 1/2500th is a very nice touch. Beyond that I can't fathom what the appeal might... Oh. Oh, right, I see it now. ISO 1600 with no graininess! How could I have been so blind!
