Bass Rock and Sails

North Berwick

Mack and I went for a walk along the beaches this afternoon. It has been quite cold but at least the rain stayed away.
This picture is looking out towards the the Bass Rock and, just on the horizon, you might see the sails of some boats racing.
I took the D700 today to have some Nikon love. I can't make up my mind. I think the D700 outshines the GH3 but perhaps that is just in the eye of faith.

Has the "Nikon" look to me. Difficult to describe but ever since the D70 I've thought the Nikons do this landscape type of image really well.

Well this is a fine set of pictures. I have come to understand that the camera is much less important than most other parts of the imaging process. The camera that you instinctively want to reach for is the best one. V
