which is officially known as Puttamingmongkol Akenakkri
Buddha, is devoted to His Majesty King Bhumibol, and is
located beside Khun Suporn Buddha (see yesterday’s email).
It stands 45 metres high and is 25 metres across at its Base.

Rainfall, in Buderim, during 2013 was approximately (I didn’t
empty my rain gauge every day, but these figures shouldn’t
be too far out) 2245•9 mm. The average annual rainfall for this
area is 1547 mm so last year was wetter than usual.
